Chapter 6 - Stats
Each character has seven stats that help determine variousthings about the way a character fights in battle, grows atleveling, and heals. These stats are Strength, Intellegence,Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution, Charisma, and Luck. Each classhas a prime stat, that can be raised through spell and eq to 25.All other stats may be raised to 20 only, no spell or equipmentwill increase a non-prime stat past 20. The following is a listof each class and their prime.
WARRIOR - Prime stat of strength
RANGER - Prime stat of strength
MAGE - Prime stat of intelligence
VAMPIRE - Prime stat of dexterity
THIEF - Prime stat of dexterity
DRUID - Prime stat of wisdom
CLERIC - Prime stat of wisdom
WEREWOLF- Prime stat of strength
BARD - Prime stat of wisdom The following is an example ofspells that raise your stats.
KINDRED - Spell increases your str by up to +3.
DRAGON WIT - Spell increases your int by up to +3.
SAGACITY - Spell increases your wis by up to +3.
SLINK - Spell increases your dex by up to +3.
TROLLISH VIGOR - Spell increases your con by up to +3,decreased cha by -1.
ELVEN BEAUTY - Spell increases your cha by up to +3. To getmore information on how each stat affects your character, readthe help files. Below is a brief introduction of the affect theywill give you.
STR - Strength affects your dam roll and hit roll. Increasesyour chances on bash, stun, doorbash, shove and drag, and theability to dual-wield heavier weapons. For each additional pointof strength you gain an the ability to carry more total weight.
WIS - Wisdom affects your practice gain at level, your manarecovery, and concentration while casting spells. Also, itaffects your mana gain at level, but less than INT does. It alsoincreases your ability to remove a trap or poison a weapon.
INT - Intelligence affects mana gain at level, maintainingconcentration when casting spells, the rate at which you are ableto practice, and your mana recovery rate when resting orsleeping. You also adept spells, skills, and languages fasterwith maximum intelligence.
CON - Constitution affects your hitpoint gain at level, yourhitpoint recovery rate, and your endurance. Keep highconstitution to get the best from your mental state.
DEX - Dexterity affects maximum number of items you can carryat once in your inventory. High dexterity lowers your naturalarmor class, increases your ability yo quaff during battle, andallows you to gain more movement points at level. It alsoincreases your chances with stun and bash. It also helps a thiefwith the poison weapon skill.
CHA - Charisma affects the beauty of your character. Thehigher your cha, the easier time you will have charming.
LCK - Luck represents the tendency of a character to succeedor prosper through chance or good fortune. This stat is now, andforever shall remain somewhat a mystery. No one can truly explainhow ones luck affects their life.
